PAINTED
SILK CARE
Handwash in lukewarm water, using special silkwashing
agent.
Dry
in warm air or leave to dry rolled up
in a terry towel.
Don't tumble-dry. Line drying renders the silk lustreless and difficult
to iron.
Iron the silk while the fibers still contain some
moisture. Iron at temperature for cotton (**), labels at a lower heat.
Ties should be ironed on
the reverse side.
Wearable silk looks good, when ironed often.
Paintings can be cleaned with a vacuum cleaner. Paintings streched onto a frame can be also showered.
The silk is painted with special textile colours, produced by French
'fabricant de couleurs' Pébéo,
which are completely wash - and bleachproof.
